3150 Apprentices in Southern Railway – Apply Online

Are you looking for a job?  Good news for you. Railway Recruitment Cell has released notification for Southern Railway Apprenticeship. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for these posts.

ONLINE applications are invited from eligible candidates for engagement as Apprentices for imparting training under the Apprentices Act, 1961 in the designated trades at various Divisions/ Workshops/ Units in the jurisdiction of Southern Railway. Candidates residing in the following locations/areas falling within the Geographical Jurisdiction of Southern Railway alone are eligible to apply.

there are total 3150 posts in it. Indian-Railways Looking at the details of the posts, there are vacancies in Garage, Wagon Workshop Perambur, Central Workshop Ponmalai Tiruchi. Also there are many vacancies in S&T Workshop Podanur units. Those who are selected should work here. Looking at the eligibility details… there are three categories.

One category for 10th pass candidates, second category for twelve passers, third category for ITI diploma certificate holders are Fitter, Welder, Carpenter, Painter, Turner etc.

Last date to apply for these posts is:  31 October 2022.

There will be no test or interview. If we look at the selection process…the selection will be based on the marks obtained in 10th class, 12th class and ITI course. Candidates can visit sr.indianrailways.gov.in and apply.

 Salary details..

Rs 6000 for 10th pass, Rs 7000 for 12th pass and ITI pass.

The application fee is Rs.100.

SC, ST and women candidates do not need to pay this application fee.

But the duration of training is one to two years. After that the job will be given to that person. Candidates can visit sr.indianrailways.gov.in to get any further details. Also consider age. There is an age limit depending on the posts. Observe them and apply. Online Application:
