All Regional Director of School Education and District Education Officers of the State were informed that the Hon’ble Chief Minister himself reviewed the Jagananna Gorumudda (mid-day meal) implemented in the State to provide nutritious and attractive meals to the school children. Hence, the current menu in force in the state, as on January 21, 2020.

Now, the government has decided to revise the existing menu to bring more variety in MDM keeping in mind the vision of providing adequate, balanced, tasty and quality mid-day meals to the students. The revised menu is decided as follows and the same is scheduled to be implemented from November 21, 2022.

Therefore, all Regional School Education Joint Director and District Education Officers of the State are requested to convey the above revised menu details to all Mandal Education Officers/Head Masters/APMs/Field Functionaries, Inspection Teams etc. From next Monday ie November 21, 2022 for sure.

The inspection teams are requested to issue necessary instructions and ensure that the revised menu is followed as per schedule and ensure the quality of food served to the students and report the compliance.

Any discrepancy in the above instructions shall be the responsibility of the concerned District Education Officers and Mandal Education Officers of the State.
This task should be given top priority.
