Most of the people in the country are employed in the Indian Railways. Many candidates struggle for years to get a job in Railways. Indian Railways is now providing an opportunity to such people to get a job with 10th class qualification. After the announcement of Group D posts, another huge notification has been released. 7,914 vacancies will be filled through the latest notification. Recruitment will be done under South Central Railway (SCR), South Eastern Railway (SER) and North Western Railway (NWR) zones.

Qualifications

Educational Qualification: Must have passed 10th standard from a recognized institution. Students should have passed with minimum 50% marks. Along with this, ITI pass certificate certified by National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) or State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT) is a must.

LIC ADO Notification: LIC has released notification for 9,394 posts with degree qualification.

Age:

According to the details mentioned by the recruitment board.. Candidates in the age group of 15 to 24 years can apply for these posts. Candidates age should not exceed 24 years as on January 1, 2023. Similarly 15 years should not be reduced. There is age relaxation for reserved candidates.

Details of posts vacancies

The notification states that 4,103 apprentice posts are vacant in South Central Railway, 2,026 in South Eastern Railway and 1,785 in North Western Railway. Interested candidates are advised to submit applications through online. To apply for the posts in the respective zones, one should approach the respective official websites.

Selection process

Educational qualification is going to be key in selection for these posts. Selection process will be based on merit list. Along with class 10th, there will be an opportunity to select those who have excelled in IT. A merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in these two.

Application Procedure

Candidates can apply through the website scr.indianrailways.gov.in for 4,103 posts under South Central Railway Zone. South Zone includes Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.

Apply for 2,026 posts of Kolkata based South Eastern Railway through rrcser.co.in website.

Candidates can apply through the website rrcjaipur.in for North Western Railway Zone which has 1,785 vacancies.

The application process will start from January 10.

Applications will be accepted from the candidates till February 10.
