ELIGIBILITY FOR WRITING THE TEST
Candidates who satisfy the following requirements are eligible to appear for APPGECET:
(i) They should have Indian nationality.
(ii) They should belong to the State of Andhra Pradesh. Candidates should fulfill the local/non-local status requirements as prescribed in Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation). Admission) Order, 1974 as subsequently amended.
(iii) They should have obtained relevant Bachelor’s qualifying degree or its equivalent degree in relevant discipline from AICTE/UGC with minimum 50% marks (45% in case of reserved category candidates). An approved institution recognized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh as equivalent for admission to the respective M.Tech./ M.Pharmacy/Pharm.D(PB) courses in the courses for the degrees given in the Annexure below.
(iv) Candidates pursuing B.Tech or equivalent / B.pharm. Courses are eligible for admission in relevant M.Tech./ M.Pharmacy/Pharm.D(PB) courses. Passed in prescribed course and all subjects for award of degree by the concerned university on or before the date of counseling for admission to the college.
