SITRANG CYCLONE ALERT  TO AP

Sitrang Cyclone approaching.. . Heavy rain till 26th.

The ongoing surface circulation over the Andaman Sea is likely to turn into a low pressure over the Bay of Bengal in the next 24 hours. Officials of the Meteorological Department said that it is likely to move towards west-northwest and become a cyclone on 22nd and then a cyclone. However, at present, there is a high possibility that this storm will change its direction from AP – Odisha and move towards Odisha-West Bengal, and if that happens, there will be no impact of rain in Telugu states, if the storm stops between AP – Odisha, there is a possibility of heavy rains in Telugu states.

Meteorological department officials are predicting that there will be a chance of heavy rains from 23rd to 26th of this month, and the wind speed of 46 to 65 km per hour will be high during the turning of the cyclone into a typhoon.
