Sub:- School Education – MANODARPAN – initiative which aims to provide psychological support to students, teachers and families for mental health and emotional well being during the Covid outbreak and beyond – Orientation programme – Virtual Mode – Certain Instructions – Issued – Regarding.

To all Regional Joint Directors of School Education Department, District Education Officers, Diet Principals, Deputy Educational State officials, Mandal Educational Officers and Headmasters are invited to the 3rd reference read above, in which the Additional Secretary, Department of School Education & Literacy, Ministry of Education, Government of India, Shastri Bhavan, New Delhi informed that the National Education Policy, 2020 emphasizes mental health and well-being of students as an important aspect of holistic development. says To advance this perspective, it is appropriate that schools provide the necessary support and inputs to promote students’ psychological well-being. Aiming to support schools in this endeavour, it is proposed to conduct a one-day orientation on Mental Health Survey and Modular Handbook on Early Detection and Intervention of Mental Health Problems in School Going Children as Director of SCERTs. Directors of School Education, Education Administrators at District, Block and Cluster level, Chairperson/Commissioners from CBSE, KVS and NVS as well as staff involved in guidance and counseling activities / mental health services at State/UT level.

Further, informed that to issue necessary directions to all the District Education Ofcers, Block Education Ofcers, BRCS, CRCs and DIETS, as the case may be to view the aforesaid programme through live streaming on 14-10-2022 at 10.00 Am at the following link: https://youtube.com/channel/UCYY29PAdX066HZgle9jLBRA
In view of the above, All the Regional Joint Directors of Schools Education, the District Educational Officers, DIET Principals, are requested to inform the field level officers i.e., Deputy Educational Officers, Mandal Educational Officers and Head Masters in the state to take necessary steps to view the aforesaid programme through live streaming at the above coated link at their jurisdiction.
