Sub: School Education-SCERT, AP – Conducting of TaRL Mandal Level training Programme in two/three spells(each spell for4days) from 17.10.2022 to 01.11.2022—orders issued-Reg.

It was decided to conduct the training
programme to all teachers who deal with classes 3, 4 and 5 in all government management schools in the state at each Mandal Level in two/three spells (each spell for 4 Days) from 17.10.2022 to 31.10.2022.

Therefore, all the district educational officers in the state are instructed to conduct the programme in the most beneficial manner.

 Guidelines for implementing the program Successful Method:

i. District Education Officers of the state should confirm Trained teachers and CRPs at state level and district level and Implemented TaRL program in their respective schools Appointed as Mandal level resource persons.

ii. Appoint a strong nodal officer who is the district sectoral officer of the SS/DIET faculty in the district who can devote more or maximum time to the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) program at the district level.

iii. The District Education Officer should direct the MEOs to conduct the baseline test and end line test of the teachers on the instructions of the resource persons under training and ensure that the data (base/end line) is entered within a week of the test. (This helps to take immediate preventive measures at ground level).

iv. In case of high schools with classes 3-5 and if SGT is not available, appoint one Telugu and one Maths teacher for the programme.

v. Before starting the program, make sure to learn the teaching Materials are printed and distributed to the school. ie 17-10-2022.

vi. Teachers of single teacher schools should draft for training only after making alternative arrangements and ensuring that classes are not disrupted.

vii. Direct all principals of primary, secondary and high schools under government and aided management schools to implement TaRL program for standard 3-5 children for two hours every day; One hour for Language (Telugu) and one hour for Mathematics as per the given schedule.

viii. Instruct all MEOs to conduct 50% morning and 50% afternoon TaRL sessions in schools to get proper support from CRPs and First Team.

ix. Ensure fortnightly review meetings with CRPs at mandal level to get updates about TaRL program and report the same to district and state level authorities.

x Issuing necessary instructions to Mandal Education Officers/Complex Headmasters to monitor the TaRL programme. xi. On 10th of every month, all DEOs must review the project with APCs of SS and submit a review report including highlights, achievements, issues and challenges to SCERT AP Director.
