Sub:-School Education Department – Instructions pertain to the district field visits of undersigned, for the District Educational Officers / Regional Joint Directors of School Education – Issued

The following general instructions pertain to the district field visits of undersigned, for the District Educational Officers / Regional Joint Directors of School Education:-

(i). Ensure that all District Educational Officers and Regional Joint Directors of School Education must be on the same page and maintain flagship programmes’ information like Jagananna Ammavodi, Jagananna Goru Mudda, Nadu Nedu, Jagananna Vidya Kanuka etc., for the Education Department.

 Moreover, preparation of other information like status of distribution of TABs to the students in the 8th grade, training to teachers, preparation of affiliation with the CBSE Board, performance in FA 1 and 2 tests, preparation for the SA 1 test, and performance in English Medium etc., should be done

(ii). Data presented to the undersigned by the officials, should be same as being submitted by them to the Commissionerate and the Government. In addition to the foregoing, District Educational Officers must be prepared with list of their issues pending with the Commissionerate and the Government.

(iii). During the visits, the primary focus will be on inspecting schools, with reviews occurring solely during inspections. There is no need to schedule any meetings at the district office or at the guest house.

(iv). Undersigned will visit the schools during the school hours, from 9.00 AM to 4.00 PM. Evening visits will be to Residential Schools such as KGBVs, A.P. Residential Schools and A.P. Model Schools.

(v). During the visit, no wastage of efforts towards protocol arrangements should be made. The entire focus of the officials should be towards participating in the inspection.

2. Arrangements should be made as simple as possible by the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District Educational Officers:

(a).If there is halt for the night , a simple menu as below is sufficient: –

(i).Morning Tea: only one variety of simple biscuits like Parle or Krackjack with tea.

(ii).Breakfast: Idli (or) Dosa – plain (or) onion, with chutney for breakfast.

(iii).Lunch: Chapathi (or) Phulka with one vegetable curry.

(iv).Evening Tea: Tea and biscuits with Krackjack or Parle

(v).Dinner: It should consist of Phulka (or) Chapathi with a vegetable curry and a glass of milk.

Note that no additional arrangements like fruits, dry fruits, fruit juices, non – veg or other food stuffs are made under any circumstances.

3. As the intention of visit is to inspect the schools in interior villages, the stay arrangement should be a high school/boarding residential school/Hostel/ or a Government Guest House. There is no need to make arrangements in a hotel or lodge.

4. The Regional Joint Director of School Education is responsible for following up on the tour observation and provide a brief to the undersigned, from time-to-time, on the actions taken on the observations made during the visit.
