Enhancement of HRA for District Headquarters AP

2 . Notifications from the Final Gazette: G-15 to G-40, dated: 03.04.2022, connecting with the rebuilding of locale in Andhra Pradesh.
3. CMP No. 4882/Additional Together with the representations of the Employees’ Associations, Secy (MR)/2022, dated October 7, 2022.
ORDER:
Orders were issued to modify the rates of House Rent Allowance (HRA) in reference 1 above, superseding the orders issued at para. 8 of GO Ms No. 1 Fin (PC-TA) Department dated January 17, 2022. 2. In the reference 2d read over, the Public authority have given the last Periodical Warnings connecting with the rebuilding of the current Locale and Income Divisions in the State, and between alia Parvathipuram. Paderu, Amalapuram, Bhimavaram, Bapatla, Narsaraopeta, Puttaparthy and Rayachoty have turned into the Region central command of rebuilt locale.
3. The previously mentioned Locale base camp don’t fullfill the populace boundaries specified for authorization of HRA @ 16%, and the HRA is permitted @ 12% in PRC 2022.
4. In the reference 3 read over, the Representatives working in the previously mentioned Area base camp have mentioned to stretch out the HRA @ 16% to all the Region central command in the State, in unwinding of the specified populace boundaries, on the relationship of the (13) recent Locale base camp.
5. Government, following an in-depth investigation. hereby order an increase in the House Rent Allowance (HRA) for the District headquarters of Parvathipuram, Paderu, Amalapuram Bhimavaram, Bapatla Narsaropeta, Puttaparthy, and Rayachoty 6 from the current 12% to 16%.
6. These orders will be material with planned impact from 01.06.2023.
7. The above-mentioned “reference 1” terms and conditions for the House Rent Allowance (HRA) remain in effect.
8. Separately, the AP Public Employment (House Rent Allowance) Rules, 1988, must be amended as necessary.
