PRESS NOTE ON RGUKT ADMISSIONS-2022-23

RGUKT admissions notification for 2022-23 academic year will be released on 30.08.2022.

A detailed notification on the admission schedule, last date for receiving online applications, counselling dates, selection method, date of commencement of classes, fee structure and other relevant information on admissions will be made available on the University website www.rgukt.in immediately after the notification.

Courses offered by RGUKT for 6-year integrated B.Tech programme

The 6-year integrated engineering course is divided into the following two categories:
a) Pre University Course (2 years):
M.P.C course is offered with following subjects.
a. Mathematics
B. Physics
C. Chemistry
d. English
e. Telugu/Sanskrit (Sanskrit is offered to non-Telugu students who do not have Telugu as their second language)
b) B.Tech (4 years): The following streams are offered.
a. Chemical Engineering
B. Civil Engineering
C. Computer Science & Engineering
d. Electrical & Electronics Engineering
e. Electronics & Communications Engineering
f. Metallurgical & Materials Engineering
g. Mechanical Engineering

IIIT B.Tech Admissions 2022-23 Eligibility

Candidates who have objected high score marks in SSC (Class 10) GPA system or equivalent examination of CBSE Class 10th, SSLC, HSC etc and not more than 18 years of age as on 31st December are eligible. Apply for RGUKT Admissions 2022 and SC/ST reserved category students have age relaxation of 21 years and they are eligible to apply.
International students are eligible
Indian Nationality/Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card holders can also apply for this 6-Year Integrated B.Tech Program 2022 and above selections based on reserved seats and candidate performance in their previous exam GPA .

Age limit
Candidates should not have completed 18 years as on 31.12.2022, (21 years in case of students belonging to SC and ST categories).

RGUKT IIIT B.Tech Admission Procedure

Integrated B Tech Program (2022-19) First year admissions are based on Grade Point Average (GPA) and grade obtained in each subject in class 10 and following state statutory reservation.
In RGUKT, Basar, 85% of the total available seats admissions are reserved for local candidates (Osmania University area, Telangana State) and the remaining 15% seats are un-reserved (these seats are filled with both the states Telangana and Andhra Pradesh students based on merit) A.P. Article D of Presidential Order 371 pursuant to Section 95 of the Reorganization Act, 2014.

RGUKT IIIT Selection List

The list of candidates selected for counseling will be displayed on the university website www.rguktn.ac.in or www.admissions.rguktn.ac.in. As far as possible the address/mobile number written in the application form will also be communicated to the candidates through post, e-mail and SMS message.

Annual Fee of RGUKT IIIT B.Tech

a) Tuition fee per annum for candidates studying in schools located in Telangana & Andhra Pradesh states. 37,000/- (which includes examination fee of Rs. 500/- per semester).
b) Students eligible for tuition fee reimbursement as per the guidelines issued by the respective State Governments are not required to pay tuition fee (SC/ST students whose annual parental income is less than Rs. 1.0 lakh, SC/ST students whose annual income is less than Rs. 2.0 lakh and as per latest Govt. Those who fulfill other conditions as per are eligible for fee reimbursement).
c) Each student shall pay a registration fee of Rs.1,000/- (Rs.500/- for SC/ST candidates) and a refundable caution deposit of Rs.2,000 (for all), and Rs. Medical insurance. 500/- per annum approximately for the first two years (for all), i.e. a total of Rs.3,500/- at the time of admission (Rs. 3,000/- in case of SC/ST candidates).
