As the state’s Joint Collectors (D), District Educational Officers, and Additional Project Coordinators, Samagra Shiksha are informed that the government has granted permission to fill a certain number of teaching staff positions in all KGBVs, they are instructed to immediately take the necessary steps to fill those positions in accordance with the Guidelines and Schedule and report compliance to this office.

Preparation of Merit Lists with regards to the Principals and PGTs shall be as Based on below.
- The number of marks earned in the academic qualification:40 marks
- Professional qualification: 40 marks;
- two-year experience: 10 marks;
- higher academic qualification: 5 marks;
- higher professional qualification: 5marks;
- Priority in merit lists will be given to candidates who have worked in any teaching position at any KGBV for at least two years, with satisfactory service and no proven allegations.

Qualifications for AP KGBV Recruitment 2023

| Principal (Special Officer) | Must possess any Post-Graduation Degree from UGC recognized University with at least 50% of marks in aggregate. AND Must possess B.Ed. ,from NCTE / UGC recognized University. AND Must possess 2years’ experience as Principal in any Govt / Recognized High Schools / Junior Colleges. |
| CRT (Contract Residential Teacher) | Must possess Graduation Degree from UGC recognized University with at least 50% of marks in aggregate. The concerned subject shall be one of the subjects of Graduation. AND Must possess B.Ed., from NCTE / UGC recognized University. The concerned subject shall be one of the methodologies of the degree. AND Must possess 2years’ experience as CRT / TGT / PGT in any Govt / Recognized High Schools / Junior Colleges. |
| PET (Physical Education Teacher) | Must possess Intermediate from the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh (or) Equivalent recognized by Board of Intermediate Education, Govt. of A.P., with at least 50% of marks in aggregate OR Graduation Degree from UGC recognized University with at least 50% of marks in aggregate. AND Must Possess under graduate diploma in Physical Education (U.G.D.P .Ed) recognized by NCTE OR B.P.Ed/ M.P.Ed recognized by NCTE. AND Must possess 2years’ experience as PET in any Govt / Recognized High Schools / Junior Colleges. |
